Yes my friend I have definitely had a lot happen in my life I could have thrown in the towel years ago and given up but I didn't the biggest mistake I made was my marriage, but I have moved on now and I am happy rebuilding my life with happier memories well done on this write regards Jill

Great poem Jaq

I always compare my life and ailments to those that my wife cares for. These are people with brain damage, either through illness or injury. I think blimey my problems pale into insignificance compared to these people. For sure we should cherish good times and what we have as there always those far worse of than us.

Super poem and so well written my friend.

When I see those people I think how lucky I am. The trials are what we need otherwise we'd all be Alan Sugar or Richard Branson. The trials I find are what makes us normal.

Good philosophy and advice, Jaq.

Too many indididuals consider having a temporary zit on the end of their nose is a heartbreaking disaster, whereas others with deep emotional or health issues carry on bravely.

We're all different of course and not everyone can react the same way to varying degrees of the above, or hunger/poverty.
