well, well done on this one cos you had me blabbing and I haven't even had a f-ing drink tonight cos I've run out! Yup, why the f....k do they play mind games? I never did, but I found myself doing the same with him, I guess as self-protection. I never understood what he was on about either lol xx

Lol no drink for me either. I dunno why they do it. I just wish I'd had the courage to counter it with my own. Self-preservation is so vital. Thanks again my friend, love Jaq xx

Jaq, this really is a raw, honest and thought provoking piece of free verse. You take the reader on a roller-coaster of emotion and thoughts, asking questions to engage them personally along the way.
There are so many of this type of people in all walks of life unfortunately and believe me, I've met more than my fair share!

Jaq, this really is a raw, honest and thought provoking piece of free verse. You take the reader on a roller-coaster of emotion and thoughts, asking questions to engage them personally along the way.
There are so many of this type of people in all walks of life unfortunately and believe me, I've met more than my fair share!

What a super poem.
There are some buggers on here that do that. Tell you what a fantastic poem or story yet mark it down. Now if that isn't playing with you head I don't know what is.
I think there are sickos in life that think they are so much better than the average man or woman. But they are not, they only kid themselves. Some people get a kick with playing with your mind. I don't know if you ever sawan Audience with Billy Connelly. He tells the audience about a highland radio station that's closing messages are make sure all your doors are locked if you are on your own and not to worry that there are bad people around. Billy of course made fun of it. But could you imagine that, he echoes the thought why would you say that to play with the listeners mind? The devil says he would go quiet and wait a few minutes until someone went to switch off and then shout "leave that switch alone I've not finished" Frightening the poor bugger LOL. Everytime I see that TV program I am in tears.

I don't think it is right at all. You penned this powerfully, and I have experienced this too...in time it balances but it hurts like hell at first.

I just review a poem called "Wolf in a Sheep's skin" and then your poem. Yes, everyone is out of their mind - even maybe including ourselves at our worst moments. Some people like to muse on people's problems, accentuating them if they can, to make themselves feel better about themselves. So, we must feel very sorry for these "Playing with your head.
It's beyond cruel and hateful (these people)". Good write, well expressed and versed too. Great work. Cheers.

I would have liked to have you be more specific about what is really happening with you. What is going on in your head. Whom are you afraid of, or what do you fear? Please write more, as I think this is the basis of something greater. it has inspired me to possibly consider something in this area as well. Thanks.

I really like this poem because it speaks the truth. It laments the evils of mankind and how we hurt and maim each other needlessly. I just pray about the ills that people shell out to us. Some people have hearts that are as solid as a rock.Still,others have feelings that growl and cut you.
