What a lovely response to this contest! I usually shy away from these rather odd looking prompts, but you have shown how they are worth having a try at.
Quite charming, and your joy at being a Grandpa again just radiates from that YES! I am just a wee bit envious, in the nicest way. We have no sign of grandchildren on the horizon, but you never know. The day may come eventually.
A pleasure to read and I wish you luck in the contest and with the imminent arrival.

Your poem is in good syllable count and structure for the contest, but you forgot to rhyme the final two lines as required. However, I see the contest is over, so I'm not going to dock a star. :-)

This is a well expressed poem. The proudness of "grandparent-hood" shows through. The picture iswell chosen . I assume the little cutie pictured is Aiden.

very precious the bow reminds me of Minnie mouse. so sweet. Congrats on the new arrival! I tell my son he has to have lots of babies since I couldn't have but one and wanted more.
