Hi Jackie you are quite sweet thanks:) I just write what my heart feels and sometime it does feel quite alone.My intentions are not to make other sad I use writing as a tool to help myself. If I am lucky it helps a couple of people around me as well:) Other times the room is full like right now.Your words do deliver me from the darkness but it is much like a storm cloud always threatening to come back and block out the sun.Today I was inside all day so I really didn't catch a glimpse of it. It was dark when I arrived and also when I left. There is however a half moon so that might be an indicactor that I may be only half lost and half crazy. Me and full moons are a bit of a problem. I think of it as emotional high tide. The moon controls bodies of water and we are mostly water.I am smiling right now so good job! Have a great night and take care......Mark

This is a very well written poem. Darkness is not a good place to be. Your words remind us that opening up to others will help bring back the light. Thank you for sharing. RJ

This is a lovely poem! For anybody who has recently seen darkness, this is what they have to read. It conveys bursts of hope and faith in a relatable way. I'm sure we've all felt like there is no hope. But if we bear in mind the good things that we have done in our life- and let go of the bad- we can continue to work our way into being better and happier.

Depression is certainly very difficult to break free of Jaq when it has you in its grip, as we both know. It is true that it is important try and find something or someone worth focussing on to keep your head above water. Easier said than done sometimes!
This is a lovely piece written with sincerity and compassion. I haven't seen Marks poem so I will seek it out.
Your words flow with ease, and your rhyme choices sit well.
