I have never been more pleased to give six stars to a poem in a tree.
To me Christmas and Santa Claus have always been about joy, magic and celebration. Of course, I continue to believe the true message of resurrection and salvation that is behind the Christmas Story makes this a time for rejoicing, so when you blend your Hedgerow friends into this season, you add a special touch of magic that should enthrall both children and adults.
I think you have created a new classic poem, that would make a great Disney movie. As always I love the positive nature of your Hedgerow creatures and your great sense of rhyme and rhythm.
I am sending you a pasal of Irish Hugs for good luck in the contest.

I have just been sitting here reading and rereading your amazing review. Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments! These little guys have been helping lots of animals in lots of stories. The first book of 11 stories comes out in 2 weeks time. I wasn't sure how this one would go down, because of the length, but I have to say I am over the moon at the response. I will be submitting this one, but it will be too late for this Christmas. Your review, especially being a teacher, has pushed any doubts I had right out the window. Thank you!! Thank you for sharing and I am so glad that I am not the only big child around. Children really need more work like this which makes childhood a joy and continues into our adulthood. I cannot wait to share this with my two boys when they wake up.Good luck.Now I know how Santa fits all the presents into his sack!!!!

Santa is real, knew I was right!!!! I do starjumps around the tree every year and I am a curvy lady...much older ha..ha,ah well nothing like having that joy inside...it is a beautiful story

Melrose Books UK. They are a partnership publishers. Being a new author, if they think there is a market for your work, they will share the expence and then I get 55% royalties till I get my money back and then it drops. It gets me out there without me paying megga bucks so to speak. And they promote it big time. They have arranged my book signing in the largest book stores in England, Waterstones, which I am as nervous as anything about! But all my friends and family will be there, buying my book. They have put it on Amazon too. I am going to Enland on the 26th this month, and it comes out on the 29th. I will let you all know how I get on. I wouldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the wonderful reviews my Hedgerow Capers received. If it goes well, who knows what can happen, if it doesn't, I tried and my book has been published. If it takes off, they will have to pay me for the privilage of being my publisher! LOL!!! xsx

This is a Christmas "must have" for the littles. Such a lovely story, plenty of advice for grownups too!
I liked the asking for permission and the message to parents about restoring the magic.
It read easily I did not find it long at all, in fact needed to read it more than once to find a few suggestions!
ST.1 "I hope the YOU'LL al...."
ST.9 "Maake sure they're not late in going to bed"
Last staanza "And into their sacks they dived straight away"
"Then Timmy Mouse shouted,"I've got my toy car".
