The three were not thinking. They didn't have to go for specialty thinking. They could be kept busy as Hell (excuse the expression.) in the barroom political bawls.

Yeah, I think you're right. No one ever accused Grim Reapers of being smart. LOL Thanks for the review and comments.

What a witty premise for a story - reapers who specialize and find themselves out of a job - this is so wonderfully, darkly funny. I love the guy who longs for the good old days of the plague. LOL
typo - just TO warm for my taste - too
typo - conteplating - contemplating
I actually knew an undergrad who was in Skull and Bones when I was a grad student - this part has me laughing my head off. LOL
I love the new specialties they could take up to replace their old jobs :-)
Rising, they shook - add comma
Brooke :-)

I enjoyed reading this very much. The story is creative and filled with humour. Each Grim Reaper gives a good reason why their business is slow, and I love the witty ending of the story, as they decide a career change is needed. This would have made a terrific contest entry.

I DO ALL MY REVIEWS IN UPPER CASE, FOR IT'S JUST EASIER ON MY EYES. IN NO, WAY, SHAPE OR FORM AM I SHOUTING OR YELLING.

LOVED YOUR DARK HUMOR. YOUR DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN DETAILING THEIR FOR SPECIALTIES, THEN COMING UP WITH NEW FIELDS TO PURSUE. YOUR BRINGING IN THE SKULL AND BONES SOCIETY AT YALE WAS C CLASSIC TOUCH. YOUR RESEARCH FOR SUCH A SHORT PIECE WAS OUTSTANDING. KUDOS!

TAKE CARE,

RAY

Well written and very humrous as well. Had a good pace that really kept your interest and the use of the mythical names of death was orginal. This was a good story that I'm sure will go over big with your writing group. It's orginal and fun, which makes for a great read.

Oh now!! What an original and well crafted story. Now Marcia, this is all telling, and I love it. Wow! Perfect story in my opinion. I read it twice to see spags, and found none. I apologize if I missed any. I'm not the best as you know in finding these. I have too many of my own. Lol! NICE job!! xoxo. Susan

Your story is both interesting and imaginative. I found I was hooked by the end of the first paragraph. Thanatos picked a field that is, as the saying goes, ripe for the picking. Your story was very creative, and I enjoyed the read. Curtis

This is a terrific new take on the quandry of Death.
I like that you did your research and spread death around. That was very clever. I am suprised that war hadn't been the first choice of one of these guys--especially as we've gotten so good at it. Genocide is another hot field.
I'm interested that Yama is God of Death and Justice--an odd combination if you ask me.
Good stuff, Beth.

Peace, Lee

Thank you so much for the great review Lee. I agree that death and justice sounds like an odd combination. I guess it is "just" that all should die. That seems to be the sentence handed down for mankind.
