the passage where the queen drowns in a lake of tears is quite expressive and filled with heartfelt emotion
good use of occasional rhyme
good alliteration in linen lies
and veils of voile

Thank you for your very reassuring review, Brooke. I was a little worried it was too minimalist, but then am also aware how I do "carry on" a bit sometimes. LOL
