A very nice story. I too love that quotation. At the top of your entry it states general fiction; however, in the author's note you stated "An honor to share this true story with you." I wonder which it is.

Carolyn, thank you for alerting me to that "fiction thing." Those letter are so small and my eyes are not too bright these days. I managed to changed it to Spiritual Non Fiction, how it is. The pure in distilled way God calls me in. Blessings!

"Be Still and Know that I am God" is a huge passage when one considers what it eliminates. It eliminates worry, doubt, and anxiety, which take up three quarters of our time. Nice job.

This reminds me of when I was going through a divorce and felt all alone in the world... I saw a print of just the hands of Michelangelo's famous painting of God reaching for Adam. It almost knocked the breath out of me. I realized I am never alone! I bought that beautifully LARGE framed expensive print and still have it hanging in my house. Every time I look at it, I remember to thank God for always being there with me.
