I just came across your poem scrolling around on the site and had to stop and say this is really a wonderful poem on faith. Well done on an excellent write! I liked the way you ended it
"It stills the ocean with a simple command
and walks on a raging sea
It builds a fortress with a grain of sand
and calms the storm in me"

You describe faith so perfectly and eloquently. It is amazing that as hard to understand as it is, we depend on our faith. Great opening and closing lines. Very well written. Good luck in the contest.

I can think of no better definitions of faith than what you have penned here. I looked at your author's note and said "Amen," because like you, I, too, have lived a large portion of my life by faith, and I continue to do so. May you be blessed to write many more such moving and stirring pieces.
