My faith! Very well written. But I cant live without it so I muster up my courage, I pick it up like a shield and I go forward. Forever forward. well said... Deorre

We never know when it is our time -- faith should not be put off for the future. It should be practiced just like military training so that when it is needed we will be in shape.

Hi there! What a well written expression of the need of faith-it is said that it can build mountains and that is so true. Liked the way you used fear as the counterpart of faith. Nice job...xoSusan

K, your poem is an honest look at the struggle to maintain one's faith. I like the line "candle that burns,/Through the coldest night." Very good scriptural reference to the shield of faith. Blessings, Hector

A great poem that speaks about the importance of faith. I also like how you use fear as the opposite of faith. This is so true. Fear is such a hindrance in our lives and it is impossible to have faith and be fearful at the same time. You pointed it out in a unique way that really hit home with me. Great job!
