"Off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz"! This reminded me of one of my favourite films Wizard of Oz, brought to life again and revived. Loved the idea and creativity very inspirational.

I sure hope you find a better place where you are free to walk your dog and ride your horses and feel safe. I will miss you but understand you needing to start over again. My life basically started over after my accident and while I wouldn't recommend that approach, sometimes change is good. Love you and will be anxiously waiting for your return!!! Debbie

Great story about looking for a new life. It reminded me of my own decision to leave Texas and start my own new life with the man I chose to marry. I had to leave behind my grown children for a life that I knew would be great! Love the story! V.A.

I didn't realise this was part of a larger story - you have done a good job of expressing your protagonist's determination to break free and the sense of relief and freedom that comes with it - almost to the point of overdoing it at the expense of actually moving the story forward.

You will surely be missed and I wish you luck with your new endeavor. As I read this story I felt a bit of melancholy and trepidation in the lines.
