This is nicely done...not overly sentimental. It reads a little rough in some areas, but over all, you have conveyed your messages clearly...not an easy task, writing one's eulogy.

Poet,
your poem is poignant and very well written. Your words are rich in imagery with great narrative and very good descriptive writing. Your art work is lovely. I like you title Love, eternity and remembering. Effective use of alliteration and metaphors. The lines that stood out for me: "The morning sun on my face brings tears to my eyes. The sheer happiness of hope for the new day. With the mist hovering over the mountains. Feeling everything all at once. Knowing the reason for being is here in my heart." I enjoyed the spiritual message. Your poem is an excellent entry in the Write your own eulogy contest. I wish you good luck in the contest.
Missy.

A well prepared message that shares your parting thoughts with everyone to remind them of yourself and your love toward them with art work that is pleasant to view.

The picture is awesome and what a beautiful place to see yourself going to. And reassuring to your loved ones as is letting your family know you have 'no regrets'.
I noted a little oops below
My beautiful children, there tiny faces, the love in there hearts. [their needs to replace 'there']
Good job.

As I read this, I think that this is present very differently. I would see this as like good-bye and you would joining the army not how it's said in the author's notes.

It's supposed to be a Eulogy. it's a contest entry so in that it is similar to a suicide note. Just a message you leave behind to loved ones after you die.

what a beautiful writing...i choose at this time to think on it. i know for a fact that i will have two songs played and they are Go the Distance from disneys Hercules and Remember me this way from Casper. My favorite you wrote was "knowing the reason for being is here in my heart"----important line.

This is a beautiful tribute to you and how you live life. One small flaw; you used the wrong form of "their" at the end to describe your children's' faces. The flow was lovely, and I could imagine this being read at a funeral. Good luck in the contest!
