It's an interesting but confusing story. She seems to remember a lot for a three-year-old. I don't think three-year-olds really remember that much. They simply put together what they hear from the adults and mistaken it for remembering.

This a good story with a lot of pain and hurt. I wondered why everyone kept the truth but I guess it is felt it will save the child. I am not sure. Good luck.

I saw this coming and love how you slipped it in and carried further which became even more complicated and revealing!
Well written in all ways is all i can really say.
The memories of childhood imprinted onto our minds.
Around this age the mind really begins to assimilate the conscious level better too.
I am taking it is a true story, with regard to that i have to ask do you see Aunt Lori now?
Curious to know am I prying let me know too!

This is a nice story. I liked it from beginning to end. I was curious at the beginning what the reasons are for the refusal of not wanting to visit the aunt's and uncle's home. Then I found out the real reason and the picture she was portraying. It is a nice piece work. And I think this deserves a 6 but I now had fully exhausted my allocation. Dom

This is a nice story. I liked it from beginning to end. I was curious at the beginning what the reasons are for the refusal of not wanting to visit the aunt's and uncle's home. Well this was a very interesting read! I don't like the part about blaming "yourself", kids are always the ones to pay.
"(You see, my real father was killed by " this part was pretty long to put in () wonder if it could be incorporated?

An interesting tale, and true to boot! This type of story can become very confusing to the reader, but your presentation flows logically and holds the reader's attention. Whether your conclusion is accurate or not, I can see the reasoning behind it.
