This is a good clarity pyramid- I don't believe that all policemen are honerable as I've had my run ins with "power demons"- being a female, I've also been sexually harassed and have known friends to also be harassed by cops- having said that, I have had my experience with honorable policemen who are in the profession for the right reasons- it just comes down to them being human- you're gonna have your good and evil-
Take care hon

Keimosobie,
Very well written! That last line is really great: "with poet's eyes they cry justice," It ties the whole work together. I have a lot of respect for police officers.
Here in Miami, they make about $5 to $6,000 per month, but I wouldn't want their job for $5,000 per week. That uniform is always "target practice" for some nut; and we have a lot of nuts in Miami.
Sincerely, Lyle

hello keimosobie,
i enjoyed this poem and its message. the poem reads and flows well and i have no suggestion for improvement.
of note:
Informs loved ones of their loss
(they also return lost children to their homes - thank goodness for happy part of their job)

I like this format and you have done a good job with it.
These lines
"COP
Honor
Commitment"
along with the last line about "poet's eyes" that cry for justice had me thinking about crying shouts of anger, and frustration.
Best wishes in the contest.

Seems like a strange association between poetry
and cops but, hey, most of the cops I know read
Frost and Shelley, wear dresses and frequent
the same gay bars as me; although, they tend to
frequent the masculine side of the aisle...
night sticks, big guns and, well, mostly bald
and pudgy in all the right places!
Of course, I'm just joking.

Wow keimosbie, what awesome words to display our police officers.. I have always been pro cop. I have a scanner in my bedroom and I listen everynight as to how they take care of us and even if necessary sacrifice their lives... good job.. Love Lin

I would have never connected a police officer with poetry. But, as you and I both know, the poet finds something touching in most every peron, place or thing. Excellent tribute to the kind-hearted police who truly are there to serve the public. Blessings, Linda

keimosobie,
What a very honoring clarity poem you have written to honor your brother. Your form is great, I like your
first 3 line description of cop and the alliteration in
'forever faithful' and the following line especially:
"Gilded by acts of Love"

This charming poem has already been recognized and achieved an All Time Best award. And it's easy to see why! A fine illustration coupled to stirring words. The author's notes make it even more interesting. Ron
