This is a well written story. Although things have gone wrong, in the end everything has turned out wonderfully, hence your 'almost'.
I haven't spotted any SPAG errors or typos anywhere.
Does Teddy mean something else in the US other than a soft toy that looks like a bear?

HI Kelly, thank you for your honest review and rating. I must disagree with your view that the change from past to present is incorrect. She has done the first few things, and then looks at herself, and goes forward in the present. So the preparation had been done, then onward ...
But of course, your opinion is valid and I take it on-board.
