I have to admit that Matilda's story does not interest me, but I think you have written it well. The dialog felt pretty natural, something that is hard to accomplish. Keep on writing, for yourself and for your readers.

Wow, what a story. It really speaks about how someone's influence can always be felt no matter how many years go by. Using a dream to start off the whole idea was a fantastic way to open it. You did a very good job that made this feel real and believable. Keep up the good work.

Reading this powerful story I came to the realization that I have my own Saul in my life. Very much the sort of man you describe. WoW! What a discovery.

Interesting piece here. You have captured one person grappling with their thoughts well. I'm sure their are times we all go back over the things we have done in the past- and the people- and look at what shaped us. Good work.

This is a very good first chapter. I wonder how many women have a 'Saul' in their lives. This was so interesting I forgot to look for mechanical errors, sorry.

Very interesting words to read and I am thinking that Matilda is immature in a way and has a lot to learn in life.

I felt Matilda seemed confused when seeing Saul naked on the sofa.

I feel one has to be careful in introducing to many characters at one.

I felt it was a good read.

A very interesting read, and I could feel Matilda's uncomfortableness as she sat chatting with Saul. Very nice job on allowing the reader to really get into her head.

Interesting foray into the mind of this woman, with great detail and descriptive emotion. "Her reply still echoed as an acoustic memory kept hidden in the secret chambers of her quirky mind."

Very nice, indeed.

No problems with SPaGs or flow. Very entertaining read. Nice stuff!
