Wonderful little poem about such a "big" friend. :) I have had my mix breed Sidney for 12 years now, not sure what I would do without her. They are always there for us without judgement.

Thank you for the great review. Isn't it amazing that children that have imaginary friends are ok, but as adults that means we are crazy?! Again thanks.

Hi GentleWind...the picture you chose to enhance your poem is priceless. I have a little dog that always forgives my faults and is there beside me when I feel bad. Even though comes/thumb don't rhyme the couplets are well done and musical....blessings....chey

That is so sweet, so many children have a wonderful "friend" that only they can see and speak to. This little beagle is a great friend to keep this child feeling safe alone in bed.

day's end - add the apostrophe
An invisible friend in beagle form - children certainly can conjure up that which they wish and long for :-) This is sweet as this special canine friend comforts the child who is falling asleep :-) Lovely flow and strong rhymes enhance your poem. Brooke :-)

This is a cute poem. I have very seldom heard of an invisible animal friend, except for Pete's Dragon and Harvey the rabbit.

Thank You My Friend,

Knowledge

Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem. It really spoke to me as it reminded me that I had 2 imaginary friends before I had siblings- a dog and a cat who apparently were very heavy, yet they fit in my pockets! It drove my grandmother nuts everytime I made her feed them, too! Great job. Jordan

GentleWind,

"Invisible Friend" was a well written children's poem. The vocabulary choices were targeted correctly for children and the artwork is something all children would love to visualize.
