A most fascinating totally appropriate open hearted blunt no sugar coating the message write my brother one in which I pray will take actual flight and become a sure fired warning for curious minds in damage surrender mode the whole world around as the numbing effect of escapism is in effect a ride down a road that abruptly ends without notice or prior warning because the numbness becomes a permeant resting place having no heartbeat needing no air the conversation stops....Wow!!!!My brother Darren what a true wake-up call for those still running, I really enjoyed this very much....Cranial Thinker

I love this poem about a difficult subject to talk about. No one wants to see your friends lost and hopeless, but nobody wants to tell them they are wrong. I love the way you bring the Lord in to this poem. Keep them coming.

I don't do drugs. And still constantly surprised when I find out people do it recreationally. It alters the mind which changes everything believe it or not. Why would law makers legalize weed.... Why would some people opt for illegal ways.... It's not a thing to laugh about. Drugs kill people. Sometimes prescriptions too. Good poem to throw light on the situation.

Listen to your inner voice, it's wise, you do have a choice, are two great lines. They are strong and add to the strength of your words. This is an excellent recovery poem that shows how not to go down the path of destruction.

Yes, he, out of all of my family, did not even do drugs. He passed away from a combination of methadone and beer.
