I have to admit I was singing it. I don't know who my back up singers were I think it was Muddy Waters. I enjoyed this. Sure it's silly. But I could hear a harmonia and everything. Great job. Good luck. Shirley

This would make a good song with a fiddle perhaps. LOL Nice going. The flow is very up but the words were sad. The imagery was great! It made me smile.

You say that the song should be slow but I see it different than you.

It is perfectly written and completely error free.

    First of all, thank you for your kind comments. Secondly, you may have something there with the fiddle. I could see it working, but did not originally think along those lines. Well, shame on me.

thats exactly the kind of creative funny alliterative song i could go for about now. i enjoyed reading it and even tried putting it to tune myself. it was fun. and a truly funny poem at that, well done.

There's something about this song that touches me. I am reminded of Elvis singing that song, "In the Ghetto." I like the words Pancake Mama, they make me think of a single mom working as a short order cook in a diner.

This is a nice bluesy tune about a humorous theme. The pancake lady put your pancakes down. Good entry for blues song contest. Good job!
