Very good. The format is good, the right syllable count, a good storyline, and a good satori. all in all, a good Haiku. Write on.

Wow, you were prolific while I was in Kentucky. You created a delightful set of colorful images in your haiku. I think your satori was very successful and the picture you chose complimented this 5-7-5 beautifully.

The words and the picture compliment each other so perfectly, but even without the picture the words paint a beautiful image of fall foliage in its glory. You have a knack for vivid imagery. Great entry and best of luck!

Wow Sue. I like this one very much. It's visually stunning without the photo and it's so true. To ride through the mountains during fall, is like looking at a patchwork quilt of color. well done

Beautiful descriptive poem. I think it is an excellent haiku piece as it meets all the requirements of a haiku. I love the progression depicted by the various colours of leaves at different seasons. kudos

Very nicely done 5-7-5 haiku paying tribute to autumn. Complimented well with the artwork. Good luck in the contest.

The quilt is a perfect image to use for an autumn poem, Sixteezkid - those chill nights make the thought of a warm, colourful quilt most attractive! (It's autumn here and while the days are warm, the nights have become decidedly brisk.) The satori works well, giving a shift of meaning to the autumn colours, and leading to the thought of earth's sleep of winter. Mm, this is making me want to curl up under the blankets, lol.
Good work and good luck in the contest!
Cheers,
LL

Very nice haiku about autumn. I especially like your last line: autumns patchwork quilt (creative). I didn't see anything to change.
