Sue this is a beautiful tribute to your dad. It shows how much you loved him. The description is wonderful and emotional. I found no errors for correction. Best of luck with the contest. :)

It is sad to lose a parent and can take a long time to get over the loss if ever we do. You wrote a lovely poem in memory of your Dad and I am sure he is smiling at you as he hears your message. Great work.

A most touching piece from a daughter to her father. i am particularly touched by this as Jan 24th marked my fathers one year anniversary date.

You have captured the essence of a loved one's first anniversary passing. I think you have done it really well.
I cannot find anything to say against it. Everything is very good.

A nice poetic tribute to your father. I like the last two lines very much-
"While picking weeds, I'll groom the site
And clean his stone to keep it bright."
These lines speak a lot about your deep sentiments.

Sixties-kid, this is a beautiful tribute to a lucky dad that had such a caring daughter. He waits in heaven for you and the scriptures say we have viewers from up above.

Awww, how sad! I visit my grandpa's grave several times a year and keep veteran-specific items on it to remind viewers of his status as a soldier in both World War II and the Korean War. For yours, you may consider a string of clovers around the base of the flowers since it is so close to St. Pat's day. Just a thought. :)
Anyway, great poem - a pleasure to read. My thoughts and prayers are with you this week.
