this is the most original poetic tribute to spring I have ever read. Very refreshing against all the usual boring talk of flowers and birds chirping. Great Job!

Brilliant writing! You've mixed science with poetry to very great effect! I am studying a degree in earth sciences; this includes astronomy (which is hard). This is such a lovely piece and flows so very well.
You're very talented.
Warm wishes
Kat

Maybe not a science lesson but you are absolutely right about the tilt. Thank God spring is almost here, I know its here according to dates, but there is still a lot of snow on the ground where I live and maybe still more to come. Can't wait to "bask in the sun." Well written, love how you draw the universe into our little piece of it.

Hullo Sixteezkid ....

I specially like your Note at the end - apologising to those in the Southern Hemisphere and saying that now it is our turn. Oh yes - the Daffodils and Irises and Crocus are in bloom but ... the freezing cold of Winter is still with us even though the Calendar tells us that it is Spring.
Now - back to work. I enjoyed what you have written here and you have good rhyming throughout.
There is nothing to suggest changing.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
With love from ...... Nanette Mary.

good presentation; well written; i loved this:

"I'm waiting now to see all it will bring
Because the vernal equinox is near
And we can jump for joy; it's almost spring!"

great ending! well done too!

awe
And wonderment

this particular saying should really be together and not seperated by a line break. The rst of the poem is just fine, but the pause that occures when reading here throw me off just a tad.

happy writing
Michelle

I love this one, Sixteezkid... Your view on the tilt of the earth flowing into a green gilded vernal equinox is pure poetry in its finest. Very nice...
