This is a wonderful poem. I like the thought provoking message. It has a very nice flow to it, and I like the rhyming scheme.

Some deep thinking going here in this piece of yours my friend. It makes you pause and wonder, what was each artist thinking at the birth of their creation? Well written.

This is very well done, Sisteezkid. I liked your perfect meter and rhymes, both of which always enhance my enjoyment of a poem. You gave it a well-thought-out message also. Excellent. (As a musician myself, I do appreciate the arts.)

A thought-provoking poem with
rhymes that flow and are as
melodic as an orchestra filling
the senses with feelings, with
visions of beauty, just listening
and everything else is silent all
around.
So with the structure, the softness
the rhythm of your words as they entice
the reader further and further into your
foray of beautiful thoughts in this well
crafted and so artistically molded
presentation.
Well done

Your theme was both enlightening and well said. The arts are the link between heaven and earth - that part that distinguishes us from those bestial qualities of animals. We are midway between angels and animals. The arts lean us toward the next ethereal level in the Chain of Being.

It was hard to take my eyes of the illustration. All childish visceral comments aside, I view it as a duelality, whether passion succumbed or rage released. Loved the choice. Photography has ruined my concept of beauty and art just made it worse. LOL
I also enjoyed this poem which is well written and understandable to me. In my life, poetry and arts (actually the aspirations) are one of the same and what a beautiful way to both look at and go through life. I would have given this a six for creativity, but this site has too many qualifiers and this poetic writer is now bald from the guilt.

Sue, an interesting writing. I couldn't get some of it but what I did understand, was interesting. I got more from your notes. I really appreciate you having them on here.

Reggie, you know that I am an "author's notes" freak. Always got something to say. HA! They're usually for your benefit, as I know your feeble mind does need assistance. :-))

Expression is an individual privilege and blessings. I could never abide in a world where expression was repressed or absent. It is always such a miracle to me to see the different ways people can view the same little piece of reality and make it more (or less) beautiful. I loved this thoughtful piece. Excellent ... again. Blessings to you, Linda

I enjoyed this poem very much. Sometimes I think this innate need to create and express is exactly what makes us human. We have created art and literature in the world, drawing from the beauty of nature, and from the inquisitive nature of our minds.......and we should take none of it for granted. Great writing! It got me thinking.

Yes, never take it for granted. Creation from man is an absolute necessity for survival, as there is enough destruction to go around. The arts keep us tamed and civilized as much as possible. And the beauty that our minds require, gives us such hope. Thank you for your most lovely review. With regards, Sue
