The wonders of our galaxy have eternally been a mystery we humans contemplate with wonder. Your contest entry is excellent and touches on a part of the human existence that is rarely put into poetic word. Excellent contest entry. Very original. Best of luck to you with this original work. Blessings, Linda

Sixteezkid, it is awesome to think of all that lies beyond what we can see. You gently led the poem from the breathtaking beauty of what we can see, to the vast mystery of what we cannot fathom. Very well-done. Best wishes in the contest.

WordPainter, thanks for pointing out my intent to go from "our view" to the unknown. It's the "what we cannot fathom" that makes us think of all the possibilities! Thanks so much for your great review. Sue

This is a lovely minute poem, Sixteezkid, but it is also informative and straightforward and easy to understand."Its swirl of white, breathtaking sight" is a lovely visual for the reader. Good poem. mslyla

You sure described the vast spaces very well. I especially like this sentence, "Beyond man's eyes, a mystery". If this world stands, man will conquer the unknown.

Yeah, just thinking of what we didn't know even 30 years ago is mind-blowing. A long way to go and to think of all the possible answers out there is more than awesome! Thanks for the great review. Sue

Morning Sue - You did a great job with this poem. I didn't see anything that needed your attention. The words and the picture fit perfectly together.

Hello Sixteezkid
Glad you picked the Milky Way to write about in your exclaimed entry. Nice swirling and bright image of part of our universe
a pleasure to read and look in the skies a night.
Gert
