Reading this, I will have to go over the other chapter again, because here I really like your writing.
-would leave out the 'head over heels' as this expression is mostly used in a different context.
-I like the expression 'like a wonderful, glowing light surrounded by darkness.
You put in visceral reactions, which many writers forget about.
I'll definitely read on.

That's quite the dream he had. To dream of trying to save someone you love from drowning and failing is awful for the person dreaming it. Thankfully it was a dream.

The downhill run was really well done - lots of tension and excitement and the same for the drowning scene. The descriptions were amazing! I was dissapointed it was a dream, but sort of relieved. I'll watch for more. Very enjoyable read.

you have the man dreaming and saying that Mommie and Cassie are safe elsewhere.
What a suspenseful chapter. Lots of possibilities from here.

Hi Dayadog----Thanks for great comments------I'll watch for agreement in tense as you suggested. I really appreciate your support. I've been working on this novel on and off for many years. I've always doubted my abilities and the quality of my work and have many long periods away from writing. I've never had any objective feed back until now. You and many other reviewers have given me great support. It will definitely encourage me to complete my manuscript ASAP. There will be approximately 40 chapters. I have only five more to write.
