It's a fine story about forgiveness. And yes, it is hard to take responsibility and accept blame for wrong doing. And yet, was there no police report? Surely it would have been clear who was driving and therefore responsible?

This is another excellent chapter. I do not have the hang of moving between co-authors, but I will get it, eventually. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Oh yes, forgiving oneself is the hardest thing, because loving oneself is the hardest thing to do, I don't know how people could forgive themselves for killing a child, or anyone, because you were drunk or drugged, or paying attention to your phone, but God knows, the only one who can understand. He forgives everyone, who asks, Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Carol,

What a wonderful story this was. It is true that forgiveness will come in time and when it does it will be very freeing. Sometimes we are the last to get it.

Great job Sis

Cecilia

I can't imagine the guilt felt knowing you caused someone else's death. Because of unforgiveness, Karen lost her best friend, as she was unwilling to accept she was the reason she lost the man she loved. It's hard to admit personal wrongdoing and forgive yourself for unfortunate outcomes. In this story, you created the perfect example.

I'm sure we all have something to be sorry for, but once the misdeed is done, remorse is all we have to offer. We can't go back, so we just have to move on and do better next time. Thanks for sharing.

This is a tragic story, but it was a very important story for those who have gone through trials similar to this of this lady. She could not face the truth that she was driving that car. But once she did, then she knew that she had to forgive not for others, but to forgive herself and forgive forgiveness sometimes is very hard for us to do when we were the one that felt. Patricia.

This is so completely raw. It feels very real. And it feels like something you have experienced in some capacity. If so, I am so sorry for whatever side you were on. No one wins. Karen

We make mistakes as we are all human, we have regrets and we cannot change the past, what's done is done. I agree with you that we find it hard to forgive ourselves, but when we do then we find it in our heart to forgive others, I enjoyed your intuitive and honest story Carol, love Dolly x x x

That would be so hard to overcome and forgive oneself. You put a really strong example in your story and some people can never get over something like that. Great job in telling this story!
