I believe "body lay waiting" should be "body lie waiting" as "lie" refers to a resting state.

I could have made it more explicit, but I had to keep it 'suggestive' to avoid giving it away.
The sex line is for my mechanic's love for this sports car. The Sex line is just a metaphor for a satirical view of over the top car enthusiasts. In a way, they, and I, when I was a kid, loved sporty, 'sexy' cars. I don't think I would have gone to court for that, except for speeding.

Greetings, Thesis. Thanks for reading. The contest warns of adult profanity, so I had to enter it as a contestant. The story is only about tuning a car, but the language can be read two different ways. In fact, when I took it into Grammarly's spell checker, the site rejected it for sexual activity.

Thanks, Jim, so glad you read it. I poured over this trying my best to keep the reader thinking this was a carnal act, but still keeping it free of explicit sex. But when I took it into Grammarly, they kicked me out for pornography. :>)

Interesting! I entered the text into QuillBot and didn't have that problem. QuillBot is the grammar checker I use and really like.
