Thank you for a six star review. Your words speak of the love given by our families. My 2 yr old grandson stayed with us the past 7 days, I see his face in yours, some words from him "This day is it"

Peter,

This is a beautiful poem. It is so true that we must be there for out little ones. They need to feel safe and know that they are loved. So they can grow up healthy and happy.

Well done and and good luck in the contest.

Cecilia

    Hi Cecilia
Thank you for your lovely words. Did you know that in the past 10 years, over 96,000 children have been killed in war zones around the world? It really does beggar belief: those poor little mites have been denied any future. Suffer little children…….
    Kind regards,
    Peter

    Peter,

Those are sad statistics. I didn't realize the number was so high. The ones left behind don't have a bright future ahead of them either.

Yes, you re right, the stats are upsetting.
    Take care

Children are vulnerable as they are innocent and trust everyone. I agree with you that they need to be protected by those who love them and those loving arms should always be there, a fine post Peter, love Dolly x x x

Awe! This is so sweet!
The picture jumps out at you with that sweet innocent face. A good way to start off my Sunday mornin. I love your 15 syllable poem. It gives you a feel of tenderness that a child deserves. The more love they feel, the more trust and confidence they experience with those around them that are supposed to care for them.
They cannot take care of themselves and they need that gentle care from others.
Short and sweet with nice rhymes.
Little kids are my favorite! And on the other spectrum, I love seniors as well. And those in between....well...
it depends on the type of person they are. lol
Happy Sunday.

    Hi Lana
Bless you for your kind words and the six stars. Did you know that in the past 10 years, 96,000 children have been killed in conflicts around the world? What on earth have they done wrong? Suffer little children.…….
    Take care and stay safe.

This is a nicely written 15 syllable form for the contest and I wish you the very best in the contest. May you have a lovely day and may God bless you and give you blessings beyond measure. Patricia.

Your poem is so heartfelt! "Tiny hands" and "loving arms" create such a warm feeling. I love how it captures the love in just a few words. It's so powerful. Beautifully done!
