I will give her a six star. She is a beautiful animal. Sorry, I have been sick. Real bad flu. Been in bed for several days. Been a two week run, and I'm still getting over it. No energy. Hopefully I am passed it. I have missed a lot. My apologies.

Good picture and very legible type. Also, a really cute story. They should crate the puppy when they aren't home. She needs to go outside just before they leave and right after they get home. Dogs apparently learn this quickly as my daughter has had several dogs and only gave up on one. She needs things to tear up and play with also.

Aw, what a charming story, my friend, and yes, I am dropping in which I do not like to do -- it doesn't seem fair. But then, neither is ignoring work I love of a friend who's always reviewing for me.

Congrats on the new family member -- she looks like a sweet dog! :))

Very nice photo and story to go with it. I guess possible having some Great Dane in Phoebe's DNA would go well with two young girls. I'm sure they are thrilled with the dog. Why did Andrew change his mind about the dog? I'm guessing he was out voted. My dad raised English pointers and I remember putting doll clothes on the puppies. They were so cute and didn't seem to mind.

The girls are very reassuring that they will take care of things, but they could lose attention to clean up detail pretty fast:):) I'm sure that LC appreciated being thought of, too. I'm glad to hear that Phoebe is adjusting well. I like your conclusion and look forward to the next episode.

Maybe the girls will have a fashion show with Phoebe and LC!

I doubt LC will allow the girls to put clothes on her. She's pretty gentle for a cat but still a cat. LOL I had a huge orange tabby years ago named Winston Churchill. Now, Winston was one laid back cat. The neighborhood girls would knock on our door and asked if Winston could come out and play. They would dress him in doll clothes and push him in a stroller. Thank you for the support.

I'm sure there are going to be interesting times ahead. When I was growing up we had a German shepherd and a cat. Believe it or not, they got along really well.

We have two cats and one dog. One of the cats and the dog get along, but the other cat pretends he's afraid and runs. Of course, the dog chases. LOL Thank your for the support.

Great story Barbara with a happy ending. I love how you ended it by what could go wrong lol?! Yes, I can only imagine with small children and a puppy. I loved reading this story. Keep up the great work!

I laughed reading the name code for the cat:) LC, nicely done. And a puppy teaches you responsibility for sure. We got our first puppy when I was in grade 4 and my sister in grade two. The funniest part is that we found it on the street brought it home and feed him beans, because that is what we had in the fridge at that time. We try to hide him from our mom, but the puppy wanted to explore:) at the end of the day this was the best puppy ewe got and mom had no choice but to love him:)

I very much enjoyed listening to this and I'm sure that those little girls with that 12 year old puppy or just so excited and having such a wonderful time with Phoebe I am so glad that Phoebe will allow them to dress her up and close. I wish you the best as you go visit them. Patricia.

I think pets are essential for one's kids, we've always had pets, and both my girls are also fond of animals, they bring a dimension of love that no one else can bring, this is beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy
