I like the concept that they're "painting" the snow, and I have a feeling that, from now on, when I see these footprints as I take Li'l Swish for her daily walks, I am going to remember that perfect description. Cool photo you found to go with this enjoyable read! xoxox

Hello Yvette.
It appears I'm not with the mainstream on FS. I've seen a lot of entries for renga and Japanese style poetry. My formalistic, traditional style of writing poetry precludes me from writing in that fashion. I believe
I will post an epigram. They are short, to the point, and sometimes rhyme, but embrace the virtues of sarcasm, humor, and criticism. The photo you included summarizes the meaning of your poem. Since I started generating all of my own artwork using AI, the graphic I used on this weeks post about "Memories" took a long time to generate.
I may become an artist and quit writing. HAHAHAHAHAHA. In free hand, I can't draw a stick man with no arms or legs.

Oooooo.... I like it!! Would love to participate in your Epigram book (if you make it that... Be sure to make the first 'chapter' a quick explanation with simple example like from Emily Dickenson or other... would love to have them not so political, but I know some will definitely go there (sigh)... I will look forward to "Zepigrams"! ;) Yvette

I recently read a lot of epigrams by Oscar Wilde. I have many pages of them that I have written in the past but I've only published 2 of them. I'm not the right guy to start a book. I lose interest if my poem is over six stanzas. HAHAHA. I'm not publishing very much here. I have posted one poem in the last three weeks.

Pretty renga sectional poem. The photo of the bunny rabbit tracks sure does compliment the poem text. Thank you for the author notes. I am heading over to work on Utah's annual poetry contest now.

Sure thing. I just noticed I put 'compliment' when I meant 'complement.' Must have been tired. But I always mean to compliment you!

Your poem catches a lively moment in nature. The opening word, 'into,' sets a sense of startled urgency, as if the bunnies are jumping at some disturbance.

Bunnies scatter to and fro, showing playful movement. It's a lovely picture. The fact that 'paw prints, part to paint, fresh snow' points to the delicate traces they leave behind, almost decorating the snowy landscape.

It beautifully balances movement and nature inviting the reader to appreciate the fleeting beauty of wildlife in its purest form.

It is a delight to read.

Thanks for sharing.

Take care

This haiku is vivid and evocative. The image of bunnies scattering and leaving paw prints in fresh snow is both delicate and dynamic.

Yvette,

This is a beautiful poem. It does look like the bunny went running for his life. The picture you chose compliments the poem nicely.

Great job my friend

The rabbits leave behind a trail for their predators and I hope they stay safe during the winter which is a trying time for all wildlife. I love the sentiment here Yvette, love Dolly x

A great addition to the book of Renga. I love bunnies and they are artists at heart. Picasso would be jealous of their paws. lol Your posts are on point

Their movements are quite rapid and enduring, (no wonder they are the world's best breeders) and as your work displays they leave their print everywhere, ****kahpot
