Dear Gypsy, your father made the wrong choice. How awful that you not only lost your mother, your father rejected you and your sister for a woman who could not have been very nice. Your sister was old enough to make her way in life but you were still a child. I grieve for your loss, my friend. I have lost touch with my sister too, it's sad. We all have those regrets, but you do have some lovely memories of the times you had together as children. I'm so sorry, my friend. That was a lovely tribute poem to the times you shared together. Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

My sister died this week and also the fires in Los Angeles are so scary.... very close to us but we haven't gotten an evacuation warning.

Thank you very much, my friend.

I'm really worried about where you live, Gypsy. How is it now? I would hate for the fire to take all you own away, are you still safe? You don't need this double load of unhappiness so soon into the new year. I'll keep plaguing God to help you. I think He'll understand and hopefully step in. Keeping you in my thoughts, my friend. xxx

Thank you, Sandra, it has been a hard week, lost my sister and the next day the fire started.

This poem, With Flowers in Her Hair, marks this sad time as you lose your older sister. Such a cruel fate to be severed by some stepmother, like a bad children's tale. So sorry for your loss. Please know we all love you. Bill

Gypsy, I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's sad about your family situation.
You had things tough in life, but you persevered and vanquished past demons. A true story of strength.
I really like your bittersweet poem.
I hope you remember all the good times you and your sister have had.
Blessings,
Cindy

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your sister shared memories that formed a bond that time, distance and even death can't destroy. Hold into the sweet ones and delete the unpleasantness of those who abandoned you both. You're a survivor. Keep writing. We love reading your stories in s poem.

My sincere condolences Gypsy. There is something about having a sister that is special... even if you don't keep in touch. I send you warm hugs as you grieve over her.
