Bambi is a horribly sad movie for children to watch.... Dumbo too... and Pinocchio .... so many. They scared me and made me cry when I was little.

    Thank you very much, 😊

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and I'm sorrt if you disagree, but hunting turns my stomach; if you enjoy sneaking up on an unarmed animal, the only shooting done should be done with a camera

Is the "dripping blood" because the deer was wounded or eaten? It's true that in nature "life is fleeting" as one animal eats another. And the vegetarians have to be fleet of foot!

The deer was wounded. I'm sorry I keep coming up with animal tragedies. LoL

Thank you very much for reading and reviewing, I know you are busy.

Beautiful yet sad, as I imagine the deer being hunted and caught, and the predator enjoying the spoils beneath the moonlight, very well written and presented****kahpot

I think neither animals nor man really know when they will die. It can intact be under any moon or sun. This is the feeling I got when I read thus Haiku.
Thanks for sharing.

From the romantic description of this beautiful creature enjoying the freedom of its life to the brutal fate that awaits. The contrast is particularly powerful and poignant. Thank you for sharing, Gypsy. Debbie

Indeed, life can be fleeting, and it can go on longer than normal, and it is all in God's hands, but He put a balance in nature, and only He knows the time and the hour of each one's demise, beautifully written, blessings Roy
