Far across the Atlantic, the snow fell heavily over the (need to indicate scene change, like you did earlier)
Charles stepped closer, his voice gentle. "I captured your strength. (gentle,)
The Inspector clinked (because of 'The' inspector has a lower case 'i')

Your story has such a cozy atmosphere. It's full of charm and mystery! I loved how you brought the holiday spirit to life with the snowy streets and the lively market scenes - so warm. Thanks so much, Michael. I couldn't end the year without sharing some time with Eleanor and the gang. I've tossed together about four stories where they are sharing Christmas Eve and buried a few hints about the new novel to begin in January. Thank you always for all your support and kindness. I am laughing my head off, my friend. And of course, enjoying being with Eleanor once again. This is not the fourth book... but I am dropping clues of what's to come here and there so see if you can pick up on them. I've posted two sections today and am working on two sections for tomorrow. I am so close to moving into 2nd that I can hardly stand it...but I don't know if I will make it or not. I'll post another two before I leave in the morning...Happy reading..... Love ya, Carol
