I would go on a treasure hunt and explore each year the bottom of the lake once the water drained
Since I was a kid I loved to collect smooth Peebles.
I think I would find some very interesting items before the snow covers everything in winter.
That's a cool black and white photo you took .. it's very beautiful where you live.

Thank you very much, Cecilia! It is pretty rare that I take my own photos for these contests and this was an even rarer case of the artwork itself inspiring the haiku. 🦍

Finally - a Haiku I can relate to and appreciate. Far too many are just three lines thrown together masquerading as the real thing. This work is full, complete, captivating, a vision, visceral, compelling - a lot of words to describe my feelings toward a short number of words. No more pyrite. This is pure gold.
