Well, here we are again writing about cold winter! Another excellent job talking about something that is tough to live with, or at least tough for some of us who aren't living in Minnesota. L O L thanks for writing sis.

Dan, you are so very sweet and I can't tell you how much your awesome comments mean to me about this Renga poem. It did feel a little magical to find that picture and I didn't know if everyone would feel the same as I did, but it worked. But you are too kind and I thank you again, my awesome
brother. Thanks for the six stars too!!!
Love and Hugs,
Debi

It's 11:22 PM and Georgia and we know each other well enough that I'm not gonna spend much time on responding to these lovely replies but I have read every one and this is one more of my cut and paste jobs! L O L
You are most welcome.

It looks like they know something to me. Like they are being reminded to store up on fuel for the coming sleigh
ride or something. Nice picture and powm. I added another one too. Karen

Hi Debi,
You know, many people don't believe in the magic of Christmas... Santa and his flying reindeer and sleigh. But I do. I believe good old Saint Nick visits homes during the Christmas season, but instead of a bag of toys, he brings blessings to us that we don't readily see. I heard him one particular Christmas Eve up on our roof... the galloping reindeer, the sleigh runners sliding along, and the sleigh bells. As sure as I sit here in this computer chair, it was real. And those blessings have lasted me for the past 60 years!
In this wee couplet of 11 words, you have managed to capture Santa's reindeer before their grand duty of pulling that sleigh full of wonderful blessings. And we all need to be blessed, don't we? We crave them, along with the love of God, remembering the birth of our rescuer, Jesus Christ.
Nicely penned!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Hey Kimbob, I should have known that you would have been the one to mostly feel and recognize what my words and graphic were trying to say. I had those exact thoughts in my head when I did this. I wanted to only hint at it tho with the little elegance of a real reindeer standing there and the words of magic in the air became to most of the Santa Claus theme.
And I too believe that the magical feeling that our childhood belief lingers on forever. Like the old letter said, "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus." As the joy of the holidays truly is real, I only wish it would last all year. I guess that is up to us though. I don't believe that it takes away from our belief in Jesus, but just adds something to it. It sounds like what is in your heart so closely mimics what I is in mine.
So thanks for this awesome review and magical comments. You are the best, my very dear (deer) friend. You are pretty perceptive for a 39 year old. LOL.
Lotsa Love and Hugs! God bless! Debi

Short and sweet. Santa has his pick of reindeer before they are culled for meat. Hardy breeders. It's an interesting micro poem. There's not much to say in that form. There must be a legend about the reindeer pulling his sleigh, all fiction except for the children and you are a big kid! KXX
