Well craptastic. I think that I started at the end. Aren't I such a fabulous but wit numb nuts?

Still, these are fun reads. Keep it up!

Karen,

Another great chapter in the book. You keep me hanging on by not revealing what is in the box. Souvenirs from her killing streak. That's what I'm thinking.

Well done

Cecilia

Oh my, my, Aunt Margaret will surprise the reader even more in Chapter Two. It is clever how you led in with mundane facts about moving often. I never put two and two together. It's always nice to get whacked in the face with a surprise twist. gayla

What an interesting theme. Aunt Margaret seems to be an interesting person and very meticulously had kept the records of all her"Achievements'. her opinions about lady serial killers are right for the most part...
What will the first box reveal?

Well, Judas Priest Karen,
it's such a shame that Aunt Margaret is a serial killer. She's quite the looker. It's hard to find the perfect mate I guess. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

I appreciate the read and kind words. What a shocker for her daughter to find. I have #3 & #4 to post. And, I am working on 5+6, Karen

Oh my! Well, you have certainly started off with a bang. Two gorgeous and smart ladies paired up because of life circumstances are probably going to have more of a connection than that of adoptive mother and daughter. The use of "we" for women vigilante killers implies that the younger will take up the mantel of the older...methinks.

This scene was very amusing. What a shock. Not only is there a very finely written account, in some cases there are pictures. My nice, calm, very loving Aunt Margaret was a serial killer. There are truly some sick and twisted folks out there. The ending is fun because it's going to make us want to go to the next chapter.

I don't think I want to know what is in the box. I enjoyed the way you described Aunt Margaret and your relationship to her. I agree with you thoughts about women serial killers.

I read another novel about a woman serial killer who eventually stopped killing, and was never, ever, caught. You are off to a great mysterious start. I look forward to reading what happens next.

You chose the perfect picture to fit the character.

I'd give you a six for this if I had one. Your reasoning about women serial killers is very accurate and believable. They don't get caught often. Some do serial husbands and get caught more often; some do serial mean men and should get an award for pedophiles.

"He looked like he was a deer in the headlights. He said he was the man, and I said I noticed, I am the woman. I noticed right off we were different. He was not amused, he got snarky, and I told him to leave. He was not requested back." had to laugh out loud reading this.
I agree with your theory about women killers, they do seem to have very strong reasons for their deeds, a very enjoyable read, very well written****kahpot
