I admire you for standing up on what you believe in writing, instead of changing for something you don't believe in. I will be praying also. God has a plan for each of His children. Well, this was a strange phone-call and I'm not surprised you feel a bit perplexed about what happens next. In the meantime I wish you all the best, Barbara. I think you might have meant "armed gunm(e)n" and in your notes "sett(l)ing on a date" and broke(n) into. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Sad when a smaller company gets overtaken by a larger one. Usually things change but not for the better. I hope Kevin and his team are safe and can continue to publish good books. They say sex sells but I'm not buying it. Gretchen

Oh yes, we live in an ever changing world, and small printers are vanishing at a rate of knots, so different from my youth, my first two jobs were with printers, I will, and have prayed for you Barbara, well done, it's refreshing thst we still have standards my friend, blessings Roy

Thanks for sharing this. I hope it has helped you sort out the situation. I'm sorry that things are changing. Your publisher is luck he is still keeping his job, but whether or not he has to change the way he does things in this new company is a question mark at the moment.
You do a good job describing your imagination going wild. Of course, he emphasizes "should." At this point he probably doesn't know all of the in's and out's of this company. I don't blame you for calling your mom. I would have done the same thing. I don't think you should lower your standards, either. Thoughts are with you, and I hope everything works out.
