My eldest son and his wife are expecting their first, my 4th grandchild, and your poem touched a note of warmth in me.
This moment in time, brief in the passage of time that it is. Is one that forever stays within the soul of the parent.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEsssssssssss. Sorry, I yawned. No, this is my feeling about conception to childbirth. Oh, wow, you hit home. I just had a lousy conversation that ended in abortion and I needed this. I don't know or care how you feel about it. Those are your private thoughts. My ideals are solid. But this poem helped me through. Thanks sincerely.

This is a beautifully written 575 and it has a wonderful pro-life message and that I appreciate very much. I was one of those girls who was asked to have an abortion when I was young and I chose life over abortion and it has paid many benefits of my life because I chose the right path. Patricia.

This is an interesting haiku that captures the connection between mother and baby, I believe. I like that opening line, "Soft whispers of love" you get that tenuous, faint first intimation of love from another being. Cradled in a sea of warmth also captures the experience of being in the womb. estory
