Hi Beth,
This is a wonderful poem about how to live life in the office and out of it.
I hope the new president will learn to do all this.
Congrats on placing third in the contest,
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving.
Joan

You should send this to Congress. Such simple common sense but so lacking in many. Win at all costs, never admit your mistakes. Beth, this was a winner. Gretchen

I'd like to see this poem posted wherever business is really conducted. Break rooms, locker rooms, board rooms. I'd suggest Capitol Hill, too, but those idiots are to far gone for redemption.
Well done, Beth.

Peace, Lee

Thank you, Lee, I'm pleased you think by little poem is worthy of being an business. I'm like you, I believe the ship has sailed for Capitol Hill. They aren't interested in Compromise and they don't know the word unity. I appreciate the six stars.

You've got it right, Beth. Our government is being driven by children in business suits. Now, our new Nero is stacking the deck jokers. I'll be 77 when he leaves office (if he does). I will not die in the meantime. I'll outlive his yoke--even if it kills me.

Wow! If only the modern work place mirrored this one, my lady -- certainly the way it used to be, yeah?! A wonderful offering for this contest - great weaving of a rhyme scheme while still keeping your message strong! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

We can achieve great things when we work with people and sometimes that means comprising. A well written piece, Beth, if only there were more people in the world who share these values. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it. Good luck in the contest.

What a great rhyming 3-6-9 poem! This would be great for a workplace poster. We all need to learn how to work successfully with one another especially when there is disagreement. Best wishes in the contest!

Bravo, Beth! Now, could you send a copy to each person in Washington, D.C.? Hopefully, at least one of them will get the idea. I doubt it, but we can hope. Nice poem...
