The author's words are well said with an ending stanza that says so much.
The poem flows and connects well. The author choice of Ezekiel 47:1
compliments this poem well. I hope you are doing well Roy....Maria

I love rivers~the mystery of them~where they come from, where they're going to, from small rills trickling gently, to powerful whitewater rushes, they are ever-changing, yet determined to reach the sea. A wonderful metaphor for our journey from baptism's gentle trickle to the all powerful sea of God. Very well done!

We do sometimes get so overwhelmed and think we are all alone, though we must remember when life starts to shut us out that there is always help available, your last stanza says it all, very well written****kahpot

Do you encourage your Bible students to write poems around their favorite Bible stories? Do you read them yours. You ought to have one in every church newsletter.
Have a good week. Good writing. karen

Great metaphor for a relationship with God that grows as we get to know Him more. That requires spending time with Him. I like the Scripture passage you chose, and you have explained it well with your poem. Blessings. Carol

Roy,
You have produced another masterpiece. It seems like you put your pen to paper and produce such lovely poems. I don't think I have read one of your poems that I didn't like. It rhymes nicely and flows to completion as usual.
Great job.

This poem speaks to me of becomming a Christian. The believing starts as a trickle and It builds drop by drop, into a stream then on to a flood. Some, regretfully, dry up and become a barren desert.

Sorry, this deserves a six, but like my bank account I'm lacking in this currency. I've not read this type of poem before, it's quite brilliant. I also noticed something else. You can almost form a different poem here by taking the first line out of each verse to create a new poem. Then the second lines, third lines and finally fourth lines. Was that your intention. You are incredibly talented Roy.

Roy, hello,
Water is important in life, and you use it well in your poem. Your touching poem touts the vastness and unimaginable joy of being immersed in God's love. On a down day, you have reminded me that it's God's Faithful love that brings true happiness.
Thank you for lifting my spirits.
Blessings and hugs,
Cindy

This story reminded me of why I'm against abortion. God knew us before we were born. He was with us during conception. We were a child of God then. Thank you for sharing this beautiful reminder with us.
