This poem is not only well-constructed, but carries in its metrical lines such an important message. The rhymes and meter are flawless and the flow is smooth and so natural. As I often find with your posts, the author notes are as special as the poem, and I want to commend you for the important and beautiful message included in your notes. I was glad you added those thoughts and scriptures. Thanks. MM

Hi Roy,
I like the end and some internal rhyme in these quatrains.
This poem reminds us not to forget the truth of God's grace and trying our best to stay away from sin. It show us love is always there and our path is there if we pray for it.
Did you mean speak instead of spruke.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Enjoy the rest of your week
Joan

I really enjoyed reading this poem, it has such a lovely hopeful message. I especially enjoy finding a new word I don't know and discovering its meaning, in this case "spruke". I had to look it up and learn something new. Excellent job--well done!

A fine image, and a poem which emphasizes that we are saved by faith, through God's grace - and we cannot judge whether others are saved, as He alone knows the heart, and there will be some surprises in heaven I am sure.

I love the Bible verse where Jesus tells the crowd for the ones with out sin to cast the first stone. I always felt that was one of the most powerful verses. It's so simple yet demands self reflection. This was great, Roy. Gretchen

This is a thoughtful poem that makes me think. You used fantastic rhymes in this poem. Question: What does 'spruke' mean? It's not in my dictionary. I especially like the final two lines about our worth in God's eyes. I also love this line: 'for unconditional's the love the salve of grace applies.' Nicely done! Blessings. Carol
