Hi Bill,
I sense you are unhappy with the election results. But the people have spoken, eh? What were they thinking? He's rounding up people to deport. He's making questionable picks for very important positions. What else has he up his sleeve?
I love the last bit of your poem,
"Do you remember when
we jailed thieves, grifters, and spies?
Now we make them department heads."
Nicely penned!

Like most fads and failed great ideas, they only last for a season. Those who are fooled and misled by the perpetrators eventually wake up, come to their senses and ask themselves what were they thinking? and try desperately try to fix their screwups.
