Just terrific, Gretchen. God, I wish I could talk to my grandkids sometimes the way Miranda talked to these two. That was perfect. Such a child psychologist she is. I'll have to try it sometime.
You should write a book on parenting advice and use Miranda to give good examples of how to get kids to be civil and stop being disrespectful.
This was very amusing, and you just keep increasing my respect for Miranda. That girl rocks!

Thank you, Jim. Miranda is unorthodox to say the least. I do appreciate the nice review and the extra star. Gretchen

Well, Mary Poppins needed to take lessons from Miranda! She has the gift of gab even if she may not like being a mom to little rowdy kids. I'm sure they will grow on her! Fun chapter!

Miranda is unorthodox in her babysitting technique. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Hello Gretchen,
I love the way you think gal. Without laying a hand on either one of them, you got the results you desired. I'm so sick of kids acting like brats out in public. I was in Costco today and had to listen to some little kid carry on. In most cases, I blame the parents for not taking the bull by the horn and disciplining their little angels. Of course, nowadays, everyone is watching their neighbor so they can run to big brother and report them. What a world we live in. Great job gal.
Have a blessed day.

I've never had much patience with bratty kids. I see some almost every day. I blame most of the parents. Thinking their child is "so smart". Great review. Gretchen

Perhaps you could come over to the UK, Gretchen, and babysit my 5 year old grandson? I like your touch. There should be more fear in moderation like this instilled, just to get a little more respect:)) As ever, a skilfully realistic piece, effortless to read. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Thank you so much. I should hire myself out but most of the kids would end up in therapy. Lol. Gretchen

A very great chapter and it was a pleasure to listen to it. It flows very well when it is read aloud. Your sentence structure your paragraph and your punctuation all lead to a very good read as I listen to it. Patricia.

When the writing is this good and flows along so smoothly, I don't even notice the length, and I don't think most people do. I just wish I didn't always seem to be out of stars these days. Thanks for sharing.

I loved it! Not too long at all. I think all bratty children should have an Aunty Miranda! LOL. This is much better than a Halloween story! I think that the children might behave themselves in future. No child likes to be called a baby, and fortunately, they are at an age where they are very gullable. Great post, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is funny and if it was long, I sure didn't notice it. You are an excellent writer. I wish I had time to sit down and read a whole book you wrote. I'm sure I wouldn't put it down until it was finished. Miranda is one of my favorite characters.
