What a powerful poem! Your lines really capture the tension and stakes of the election. The like about "democracy or fascism" seems to be how each side is thinking. Which shows how crazy politics has become. Keep up the great work!

    thanks the election is over and I intend to not write much about politics just too divisive an issue lots of other things to write about

The last line really hit hard - I'm an American voting today. I think the whole world remains holding their breath to see the results of the election. Your poem is short and sweet but gets the idea across eloquently.
