Bill,
I love that you put a face to Pons and Ned! Very colorful characters indeed.
I already submitted my vote, but perhaps, in four more years (if we still have a country), I'll write in Pons or Ned -- maybe they'll be so popular then, that they'll be at the top of the ballot!
Best wishes, Bill.
Good luck.

There is a guy who is perfect as a leader that will unite the entire country. He is someone everybody in the country will hate with an unparalleled passion. That makes him the perfect foil. Maybe even more perfect than Ned.
Who am I referring to? Why some bum..er guy by the name of Bill Schott I think.

That is a back-handed compliment for the season.

I will have to get Ned back on the trail this weekend while I also visit the Fanstory Convention.

I think the Princeton shirt guy is trying to look like you. Excellent rhyme. You summed up Pons and Ned very well in your few words. I don't know, but I think I might vote for Ned, given the choices we have. Glad you reminded us of his candidacy. judi

Bill, Thank you for this picture of Ned and Pons. You might want to tell Ned there is going to be a President pretty soon, so get ready! Nice profile pic Bill! Blessings, Teri

I think he may win against Rump, K-martis, or Write-in.
Comment from Julie Helms
If this were in a contest, you would have won it with "giggling when he pees". Hilarious line. You chose great words to describe these two fellas. And you tied it into the season with a presidential theme! Well done.

LOL!! How lovely to finally put a face to the characters we've heard so much about... but now I can't stop grinning childishly about a grown young man giggling while he pees... :-) ;-) Thanx for sharing their handsome mugs, Sir Bill! ;) Yvette

I was trying to rhyme and that seemed childish enough to fit the character.

Yay! Ned for president! I'm so tired of political ads and how vicious they are here in the local election. I can't wait for the election to be over !! Are you going to do another script?

I am deciding now whether to push one out over the weekend, or wait until the election is over and give Ned a wide-open field.

Oh, it's such a tense time now. Maybe we need a laugh now so the weekend, please?

Hi Bill,
Semper Fi. This is a great poem. I especially like the one line, "the other giggles when he pees. You captured the essence of two cousins who appear to be mischievous.
I do have a question: What does Predsodent mean? Not sure I have ever seen that word before.
This poem rhymes nicely and and tells a story to the end.
Great Job

Ned has been running for "Predsodent" (his pronunciation) for a while. "Ned for Pred" is his slogan.

Great story
