This is very well written, and I enjoyed very much listening to it. It has a very powerful message and all of us need to take note of that thing. I wish you the very best with all of your writing. Also, wish you a very good weekend and may God bless you. Patricia.

This is exceptional. I'm so angry that I've relinquished all my sixes already. GRRR!! This is so deep and meaningful and spot-on, so deep and actually brilliant that I'm going to print it out and keep it in a file I've entitled Best Reads Ever.
And just for the record, the rhythms and rhymes are fantastic, too. PHENOMENAL work, this.

This is an unusual and inventive post and I hung onto your every word here as we sometimes let our pride get in the way of letting go and making compromises that mend relationships and bring us altogether. A skilful poem and I wish I had a six for you, love Dolly x

Pride does cause humans many problems. As I read this, though, I thought why just one person giving in all the time. Both people need to give some to have a healthy relationship. I enjoyed reading. This is very well written.

Thank you so much. It's true in some relationships, there is one who gives in again and again. I imagine in this one that either of them might have been the one to make that first step which would have allowed the other to soften so they could meet in the middle; instead neither did and they both lost what they truly wanted to keep, the speaker realizing that too late and regretting her/his intransigence. Thanks again! Much appreciated!

Yes an interesting reflection on relationships and what it takes to get them right and keep them on track- regret and sorrow for what is no more pervades the stanzas

Oh yes, the bible is very clear on that point, that we must be charitable towards our friends, and particularly our spouses, this is a beautifully written poem my friend, it is a great post, and a very salient one, well done, blessings Roy
