Author,
Your poem about love shines like its subject. I love all the ways you express love.
Very beautiful words.
Good luck in the contest!
Best wishes,
Cindy
A very endearing work!

This poem is absolutely beautiful in its outline of love - real and abiding love that is to say, wholly unlike the love that seems to be so lauded in our time the gaudy, showy type of love- some exquisite lines' to risk the fall into another's soul.

Great job on crafting this lovely verse. You've written a very good FreeVerse that really does a good job of sharing the nuances, reality and the substance of true loving ways. I enjoyed reading it and wish you luck in the contest. I also enjoyed the different colored fonts... creative and fun.

I enjoyed this, though, and I am sure there is a valid reason for it, I didn't get the bold highlighting of some sections, At first I thought it might be a repeating phrase but no.
Ah well, it didn't take anything away from my enjoyment of the poem.

This is a wonderful, poetic account of what love is, recognising the subtle elements playing out (for the blessed) amid the humdrum ordinary-ness of daily life.
I loved these lines...
'It mends without needles,
binds without chains'
Well done :)
