Hi, Tom, I don't really know what to say about this one .... I see that your mind is clearly (or unclearly) different from mine. However, I think you have fun doing what you do, and that's the main thing.

Yep. That's the idea. Over the past two season I have written much less, from two a day to one a week. The contests don't normally attract me as they once did. And for sure I write eclectically going where Spock and Kirk had never gone before. Thanks for the read and cmment.

You are an absolute nut! Yes, you are, and it's always nice to start my day off with a laugh from some of your foolishness and humor. It's always a pleasure. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not really sure how to rate this, but I awarded five stars in the hope you might tell me what particular juices you have been sampling recently. I feel the marketing of these juices could well produce an income far in advance of the Government Pension Fund currently of offer. Please advise quickly.

Quickly? Have you forgotten how old we are? Which I found out today I am a year younger than I have been claiming. Really. I have been saying I'll be seventy-eight next week when a friend pulled up a bio on me that said I was currently 76. We debated which was true when the missus came in and proved me wrong. So I counted it as a blessing because time was afterwards moving a little slower.

You are exceedingly skilled in the art of tautology which is of course the opposite of the awfully good oxymoron.

I use tautology frequently and often too. Sometimes it's just the thing to bring lucid clarity to a poem or even a prose story. And if I'm feeling really, really rebellious I'll use the exact same word twice.

I found this quite entertaining, so many thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. :)

Wow. For the second time with this piece tautology appeared in the reviews, and here I never realized I was writing it.
I appreciate your time and comment. :-)

We used to play tautology in university. That and prefix and suffix. All dictionary games.

Hello Tom,
I hate to admit it, but sometimes I think thoughts, though they usually aren't ones I would like to share with anyone, lest I lose any respect they might have for me. If indeed I'm respected at all. Perhaps I just think I am. There used to be a commercial about a mind being a terrible thing to waste. I won't pursue that thought any futher.
That picture is you? I thought it might be John Astor from the Adam's Family. Goes to show what I know about anything.
Blessings,
Tom

Thinking you thought things you never thought seem counterproductive. Have you been at that long? From the earlier picture it looks as though you might have made a career of it. Whatever was passing through the thought processer at that moment looks as though it might have been wickedly amusing.

I sometimes suffer from the affliction of thinking thoughts. There is sometimes smoke involved, and almost always men in white coats. You are starting to rub off on me. Gretchen

I thought most of these redundancies were pretty clever. This reminded me of a poem I wrote last year that contained 8 different oxymorons.

I especially liked "absolutely certain," "unexpected surprise," "therapeutic treatment," and "difficult dilemma."

I didn't quite get why "another question" was a reiteration, or how "thoughts I thought" (which is a good redundancy) was like "I tawt I taw a puddy cat, because that translates to "I thought I saw...." but no matter. It was an amusing post.

I thought those thought you thought in your closing paragraph, too.😜

I tawt I taw a tautology or two in this post, but I tawt I taw wasn't one of them.

Have you read my contribution to Rachelle's convention Tom? You get a mention on Dolly's version.

Your brain is a scary place to leave open like that. I mean, anyone could just fall in and never be heard from again except possibly in the echoes of your writings. Which reminds me there have been several children disappear recently and is it possible I am hearing their words seep up from that cavern? Put a cover on that before someone get really hurt! :-)

In other words, I should stop writing?
Perhaps, a WARNING above the title page.
    Or filtering eyeglasses?
I could withdraw my membership, and have more fun than a man can have on his own.
Thanks??? If for nothing less than your time.
    j.k.
