Hi Terry,
So you didn't feel you had enough sheep puns in you poem causing you had to put more groaners in your notes. I am glad Hugh feels enough for Sue to search for her. If Hugh is so rampant, maybe Sue got lost on purpose.

Nice work and a witty play on words. I laughed because it reminded me of being a kid in LA and watching LA Rams play. Their cheerleaders were called the Embraceable Ewes. Thanks for sharing it and good luck in the contest.

As a guy who grew up on a farm and has many happy memories of farm animals, I totally enjoy this poem. The puns are incredibly clever. Best wishes in the contest.

The poem speaks of the one of the critical needs of man, companionship. He feels something missing when companionship is lacking. He keeps searching, but sometimes never finds in his fellow being. Well done, dear
