Rod,
Nicely written with your companion illustration. Do like how you explained the motion in your contest entry. As our Autumn progresses, that scene will be repeated often.
Congrats on your silver medal accolade for this presentation.

This 3-5-3, Autumn Recital, has the proper formatting and seems to bring in the backup sounds to the slow and steady dismantling of the summer that was just here.

Ciao!
I gave my vote to Hurricane Winds ( sigh) but I'm going to give this entry a sixer.
I love , love autumn and you have captured its magic.
The art choice is mesmerising and showcases well your delightful poem !
I like the title too :
a RECITAL it is indeed !
leaves entertain those that are attuned to the beauty of Mother Nature, dancing in twirls and rustling.
And to think, some folks just see dead leaves. ( big sigh)

Autumn is perhaps the grandest season to experience. I truly appreciate your wonderful praise, tempeste, and your generous gift of stars. Thank you very much.

An excellent image and the thought of air with wind instruments is pleasing, and it links with the air causing the leaves to whirl, teirl and dance. Best wishes for the contest.

When the leaves are tossed around by the gusts of wind during autumn, they remind me of people dancing a waltz, gracefully gliding here and there. This poem is beautifully written and teases the imagination.

An excellent entry for the 3-5-3 'Air' poem writing prompt. A nice poem describing perfectly the twirling nature of fallen leaves in the wind. Nicely done in few words.

Your poem beautifully shares the dance of nature. The way you describe the wind and leaves as "in tune" work so well. I like how your words share a sense of playfulness. It was easy to visualize this moment. I thought your poem was a lovely reminder of the beauty in the little things!

As my two favorite seasons arrive, it's only right that such a fine poem exists to complement them. Short and yet, the imagery is clear and homely. Lovely work!
